Join Tybee Arts Association



Members receive 20% discounts on classes and ALL performances held by the Tybee Arts Association (TAA). Current Members also receive notice of events, workshops, classes that may be held at both the Art Center and/or the Tybee Post Theatre which are sponsored by the TAA.

All members may vote at the December general meeting for executive officers.  The candidate must be eligible to hold office.  Members receive advance notice of events, workshops, volunteer opportunities and classes.  Members also receive discounts on classes and performances. To become a member, please click the link below and print out the application. Fill in the information and mail it, with your check, to the address provided.

The Tybee Arts Association admits persons of any race, color, sexual orientation, national/ethnic origin and affords them the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to members of the association.

Incorporated in 1996, the Tybee Arts Association is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization chartered to develop and sustain interest, appreciation and enjoyment of the arts in Chatham County, Georgia, including two- and three-dimensional visual art, music, drama, dance, design, architecture, film, creative play and culinary art by:

Sponsoring arts exhibits and performances for the education and enjoyment of the citizens of Chatham County and all visitors to the area. Offering educational programs for children and adults who are interested in learning or perfecting artistic endeavors. Providing scholarships, grants, prizes and other assistance to outstanding Chatham County students in their continuing art education. Working with other community organizations to use the talents of the Association membership in community development efforts.
